How it scored
Every mattress on this site is scored against these same ten criteria. How we rate
Our verdict
The most spring engineering you can buy at this price, with two caveats the brand states itself.
Four spring types at this price is genuinely unusual
The micro-coil layer is what makes it contour without trapping heat
The 30-night minimum is a real condition on an otherwise long trial
Not for anyone on an adjustable base — Newentor says so itself
Pros & cons

- Queen sits at $836, the lower end of this list
- Free delivery Australia-wide in 2–7 business days
- The trial requires 30 nights before a return can start, and the return runs through a donation
- Newentor does not recommend it for adjustable bed frames
- The warranty is ten years, the category standard rather than a standout

In-depth review
Hybrid Mattress Pro
The Hybrid Mattress Pro is Newentor’s step up from its standard Hybrid, and the difference is in the springs. Where the standard model runs one seven-zone pocket spring layer, the Pro stacks four spring types: a 1 mm micro-coil layer sitting between the memory foam and a seven-zone core wound in three wire gauges — 2.4 mm under the lower back, 2.15 mm under the hips, 2.0 mm under the shoulders. It stands 28 cm tall, with CertiPUR-US foams and an OEKO-TEX certified cover.
The micro-coil layer is what you are paying for. It bridges foam and springs so the surface contours the way memory foam does without the heat build-up, and Newentor rates the result at 4 out of 10 — medium-soft, aimed squarely at side sleepers who want the shoulder to drop in. At $836 for a Queen it costs $836 for a Queen while carrying four spring types.
Two caveats, both stated by Newentor itself. The 120-night trial requires you to sleep on it for at least 30 nights before you can start a return, and the return runs through a Salvos donation before the refund is issued. And the mattress is not recommended for adjustable bed frames — the multi-layer spring system can be damaged by bending. The warranty is ten years, the category standard rather than a standout.
Pressure Relief
A 1 mm micro-coil layer under the memory foam lets the shoulder drop in; Newentor rates the feel at 4 out of 10.
Responsiveness
Four spring types give it more bounce than an all-foam build of the same price.
Motion Isolation
Every pocket spring moves independently, and the micro-coil layer absorbs the rest.
Cooling Properties
The micro-coil layer opens up airflow between the foam and the core, so it runs cooler than a foam-only build.
Customer service
Newentor gives you 120 nights, but a return cannot start until you have slept on the mattress for at least 30 nights. Returns are handled as a donation through Salvos, with the refund issued once the donation is complete. Delivery is free Australia-wide in 2–7 business days, shipped from New South Wales; outskirt delivery areas may not qualify for free shipping.

Questions & answers
Newentor rates it medium-soft, around 4 out of 10, and says it is built for side sleepers who want the shoulders and hips to sink in.
Newentor does not recommend it. The thick multi-layer spring system can be damaged when the mattress is bent on an adjustable base.
Newentor lists four differences: the Pro is medium-soft (4/10) where the standard is medium-firm (6/10), it is 2 cm thicker, it uses four spring types instead of one seven-zone layer, and it adds a 1 mm micro-coil layer for airflow.
You need to have slept on it for at least 30 nights before starting a return. Newentor then arranges a donation through Salvos, and the refund is issued once that is complete.
